Hi all I have a skoda fabia mk1 1.4 16v and ive noticed in 3rd 4th and 5th on accelerating the whole car vibrates quite bad I recently had cam belt and water pump done (4 months ago) I have noticed there is also a fair bit of movement on the drivers side engine mount if I push on the engine with my hands.

Could I need a new engine mount?.is there any way I can tell and if not dose anyone have any idea of how to fix this problem

There is quite a lot of movement in the mounts, it's normal.

 

Vibration at speed is invariably caused by damaged wheels or tyres, inspect them very carefully and swap the rears to the front and see if it improves.

Great thanks ive just had new tyres and tracking ect and its alot better now
