Have grand plans for my 245 including hybrid turbo (purchased) with a custom remap and so on.

 

Obviously it will need full bolt on's, downpipe, intake and intercooler, I've no issues with the downpipe or the intake (already fitted) but I cant find any reference to anyone having fitted an intercooler to their MKIII.

 

Wagner state that some modification will be required to fit their MQB intercooler to an Octavia but give no extra detail.

 

Anyone fitted one and can shed any light?

Thats the one I have fitted along side the IS38 turbo, turbo muffler delete. 

 

Not it sure if the modified anything, it was in the garage for a full day.

I've just been reading some of your posts, fair play to you got diving straight in and modding, I'm a bit that way inclined myself!    

 

How are you finding the stage 3 power!?   

 

Would you mind tellimg me where done it as I might give them a call and see what they would take for doing it, I'm not that far away and will be going down that way for mapping and such like anyway!

Very jealous. Went under the bonnet today after first wash etc. Thought to myself how easy to work on and how much I could change haha

Yes mine is a facelift 230. I buy all my gear off REVO and have it fitted at a garage I’ve been using for years. Fitted the induction, turbo etc. 

 

The exhaust was done at CyBox in Birkenhead.

Don’t think my clutch is going to last though. 

 

Heard rs the guys on Golf R forum speak about Sachs updated clutch. May have to invest in one. 

The Golf R intercooler slots in really well but it is only a marginal improvement and it is the same amount of work to fit a good aftermarket intercooler. 

 

Swapping the intercooler, while not difficult is not a 5 minute job
