Electric seats

Featured Replies

Hi,

Just bought a 2009 Skoda SUPERB 2.0 diesel and to slide the driver seat right back. According to the manual there should be lever under the seat. However, I can't find it. Can anyone help please.

Hi, on my 2011 Mk11 all the electric seat adjustments are on the R/H side of the drivers seat (UK model)

Thanks Pete, i have tried the rigjt hand side adjustments and they just move the bottom part of the seat up and down and back part of the seat backwards and forwards. Just trying to move the whole seat backwards as to close to the steering wheel.

Sorted, YouTube to the rescue. Thanks

you can actually program the seat to slide right back when you turn off the ign too so it is easier to get in and out

From which year, mine doesn't have that option

no idea on the year but its via VCDs called easy entry, dont know if your aware but the individual remotes can also be set for individual drivers so the seat settings change as you unlock

This I am aware of, but have little use for it, being the only driver of the car (and this feature is explained in the car's owner's manual

Ok, I've enabled this on my car and it works ... now, how can I adjust/store the desired movement of the seat to the back? Currently, the seat moves maybe half a cm from my current driving position, and adjusts the back part slightly towards the front

not sure i dont have it enabled on mine and i dont have the software to look but it was in the menu on a pc screen thats how i knew about it, is there not a new entry in the dash screen for it?

my previous jeep had option in the screen menus on the dash the setup was the same as the skoda so i imagine there are some common interfaces

Nothing like that, and I don't understand the logic behind the easy entry, because when you turn off the engine, take out the key and open the driver door, the seat will move a little to the back. Exit the car, close the door and lock the car, the seat remains where it was. When you unlock the car and open the driver door, the seat will automatically move to the stored position (maybe because it is linked with the car key regarding the seat memory settings?). Then it should've been called easy exit, not easy entry ... more testing is required ... :D
