HDD connection

Featured Replies

Hi all.

Just bought my first Skoda and am loving it. I'm trying to put music etc on to the internal memory but can't see how it's done. Is there some hidden usb connection or something that I can connect to??

TIA

On mine it was via the SD card

It'll only accept MP3 format. Either on a cd, dvd, or sd card. Place the music (on your chosen media) in the unit, and select it to play. Then you need to make sure you're at the root of the menu system (using the "up" arrow on the touchscreen) and then press "Selection" and choose "Copy", whereupon it'll ask if you want to create a new folder or just pop it on the root of the hard drive partition. Then copy it across.

Is there no usb connection in this car (considering it seems to have everything else)??

No, no usb connection, unless by chance you happen to have an MDI kit installed.
