Hi there what type of coolant do i need form my recently acquired Fabia 1.2 TDi and how much do i ned for a full flush....any preference to brands ?

The coolant type should say in your expansion reservoir ( where you fill it).

G12+  then G12++ so now G13 is it not. 

ask Skoda if it is not in the Owners manual or tells you under the bonnet.

Thanks guys i didn't get an owners manual with the car so thats very useful ....Yes it seems the liquid amount is just over 6l so with a 50/50 mix 3 liters of Antifreeze should be fine....Just need to know which type now....Is it worth buying it from a Skoda dealership ? 

Well any Audi/VW/SEAT/Skoda main dealer's parts department will sell you VW Group's version of G13 coolant concentrate, that has always worked for me on any VW Group cars I've owned that required any.
