For all those who got caught up in seatgate, how many like me are still waiting for their Karoq?

Still waiting. No sign of precise delivery date. ‘Hopefully before end of the month’ best I have. 

Can you educate please here what is the fiasco this time?

Those of us who had our car built around bw8 or 9 but had to wait for the rear seats because there was a shortage, and we still haven’t had the car delivered.

I was BW8 and my update last Thursday said it's now at the German port.
Guessing early/mid May for delivery?

The sooner the better as I'll have no car from this Tuesday.

Cant you ask for a courtesy car? 

I explained my predicament to Skoda and they said they couldn't give me a courtesy car.

All the way through this seat situation it feels like they couldn't care less about the delay.

That was the dealer?  If so that’s a joke.

No, that was Skoda customer services but my dealer hasn't offered one either.
Guess I'll be cycling or getting the bus for a few weeks, its not the end of the world.

Wow, that’s not very good. Would have thought they’d have a Citigo or a Fabia sitting around they could lend you.

Not the end of the world but customer care should be number 1 priority. 

I contact the dealer and say this is the situation...what can you do to help me. 

They should remember that you have spent thousands and should not be treated like rubbish. 

The dealer is 25 miles away and I'd have to get a train there.

The weather looks nice for the next two weeks and I'd started cycling to work anyway.

Hopefully they'll give me some kind of compensation for the inconvenience.
