How to stop in car entertainment from autostarting

Featured Replies

Does anyone have this problem,... this is getting my nerves really...when i turn the ignition on radio starts on or may be i was listening songs from USB too loud and there you go...it will start with loud volume as soon as i put the ignition on. Could anyone help me to stop it from auto start?

I’m sure there is a setting that’s allows you to pick the volume on startup. Set it low and that should be you.

There is a setting for this under the sound tab, it's called 'max volume on startup'.

its not just the sound i want to decrease..i want it not to autoplay.

I see, you can either mute the radio before shutting it down by pressing the volume button on the steering wheel in, instead of using it like a wheel, or just switch the radio off before leaving the car. It'll remember the previous setting before shutdown, so if you had the radio on before shutdown, it'll come back on with ignition.
