My new Octavia vrs

Featured Replies

Hi all, I've just bought myself a 2016 Octavia vrs 184, to say I'm happy with it is an understatement, I love it!!! I've been reading on here about some upgrades that can be done to the car ie steering fog lights but how do I go about doing it? And are there any other things I can do that's quite cool? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have a look Here  to see what you can do but you will need vcds or carista if you want to do any software modding.

Firstly, welcome :)

Coding stuff like cornering fog lights, auto high beam, traffic sign recognition, fan speed lights in Auto mode, dual rear fogs, drl dim when indicating and heated seat memory among others are VCDS/OBDEleven changes.

My car is grey and I hate chrome, so I’m going on an anti chrome rampage on my car, just had my exhaust tips powder coated, lots of nice new badges etc. So much stuff you can do to these cars, they are very customisable.

Sort of, you’ll need either a VCDS cable or OBDEleven dongle to do long coding. It will be to be either or though, the way that OBDEleven works is that you buy their dongle and download the free app.

Find them on Facebook, there was a 10% off code. Have a look at my thread about halfway in when I started playing with my car to see what I’ve done with it for inspiration if you like :)
