Remove Central Locking

Does anyone know if it is possible to change the door locks in a mark 1 Fabia Comfort from central locking ones to manual locking ones.

My car has central locking which only works 1 in 20 times and I am not sure if it is the locks or wear in the wiring loom - would much prefer to remove the central locking and go back to manual locks like I used to have on my Felicia

I have read that classic cars without the electric pack had manual doors - is it possible to change my central locking locks for manual ones
