Does anybody have a sensible answer as to why my soon to be bought Karoq 2.0 4x4 has a first year VED of £830 and CO2 of 137gm/km and a new Ford Ranger 3.2 Diesel emitting 234gm/km is only £250 in the first year, as are all vans.

The 830 figure should read £515. It is still a ridiculous amount extra for producing less.

Run a Duel Use vehicle / light commercial then like a diesel Pickup truck.
