Apple Car Play : re-arrange app icons on facelift infotainment head unit

Featured Replies

Hi guys

Does anyone know how to re-arranged the app icons on the facelifted models infotainment head unit whilst using Apple Car Play?

I currently have Spotify on the second screen but would like it moved to the home screen's first page.

Hay, you can re-arrange the app icons in your IPhone:

Settings, General, CarPlay, Select your Car and move them as you require.

Hope this helps

Just what I was looking for :)

The settings on the iPhone only show the first few, not the true screen size.

But I'll test it out when I head back into the car.

Thanks!

That’s odd, which iOS version and head unit? On mine it shows two pages of 4x2 icons which I think matches up, MIB2 amundsen 8”.

I'm on iOS 11.3 and the head unit is the new 9.2 inch infotainment system. Pic attached for reference.

Ah ok, I don’t think I’ve eve4 had a CarPlay screen that big, do you get  extra columns of icons? The Ford and Renault hire cars I had were 4x2 as well, but they probably had similar resolution screens to my Octavia.
