Electric windows only work after removing and placing fuse back

Featured Replies

Hi,

Having this issue for some time now.

Seems that I need to remove the driver electric window fuse and place it back in for the both windows to work (only front windows are electric).

After removing and placing back the fuse both work perfectly during all time... till I turn off the car.

I suppose the mechanism needs to drain the current (removing the fuse).

This happened (maybe) after high humidity, rain... but should then the window switch be working perfectly?

Switch’ll Be fine, I had this and had I replace my drivers side motor as the control module inside has a paddy when it gets damp it seems.

Theres two types of drivers side motor, a two and three pin apparently so check your part number is correct Think the change in part is from 2005 from what I found.

Check that no water is getting into the cabin, by looking at the rubber seals at the bottom of the doorways when you open the doors after rainfall. Little puddles on the seal is a good indication that the ancillaries carrier is leaking.

If any doors are leaking, fix that to reduce internal moisture levels.
