Hi everybody.

I been driving a Skoda rapid 1.4 TDI (2016)  at 25k started overheating and coolant expansion emptied altogether. Took it to my local Skoda dealership for repairs  and was told after a full weeks diagnosis that one of the pumps was replaced as well as a thermostat. Forward 1500 miles the engine this time started overheating at over 110 degrees. Recovered to the garage again and still waiting for some good news!!??!! Any help with my predicament??!!

Eek this does not sound like a happy car. Hopefully only a sensor or two.

I'd be challenging the garage to resolve. Proof they didn't just change something obvious. Read easy.

I suspect the diagnosis was rushed, replace the first part of the chain. Not the full picture.

The whole week diagnosis is because they are either busy or poor management.

So I'd then either trust again, or go to a local specialist.

Good luck. Keep us all posted.

Also checkout the Rapid owners section. There might be similar issues.
