Troy Corser failing to finish a WSBK race hadn't happened since 2004, but that came to dramatic end at Phillip Island, when the reigning world champion was thrown from his Alstare Suzuki - then hit by Alex Barros...

The worst thing about this crash was that Barros was trying to avoid the collision with Corser but unfortunately just clipped the "hump" on Corser's leathers which spun him around again. Looked pretty nasty.
