An introduction and a few questions :)

Featured Replies

Evening,

Multiple Skoda owner but now first time owner of a low mileage pre facelift yeti 4x4. It’s currently parked next to our soon to be returned Outlander PHEV and I already think I prefer the yeti to drive and look at! The previous owner appears to have kept her in good nick and has been busy with some mods/upgrades including a front bonnet stripe, which I have never seen before. It looks homemade on very close inspection but certainly looks good.

Its off off to my friendly local garage for an air con re-gas and code check. I am planning on having the Haldex oil and filter changed soon. Probably in the next 7k miles when the 60k service is due. It has a fsh but the info on work carried out is sparse.

Is is there anything else I should get checked/changed ASAP?

Thanks in advance, I’ll post some pics when I’ve posted a bit more.

Welcome.

So not a FSH if it does not show / list everything done at every service, invoices for them.  Just dates of services partial service history.

?

Does it show when the Haldex was done.

Hiya, it’s a duplicate service book with stamps from my local Skoda dealer up until mid thirties then an independent up until 48k. The independent has receipts but no evidence of haldex, hence my question

Best have the Haldex done sooner, and a service if the last one was at 48,000 miles.  EDIT, Sorry, missed that the car is now just at 53,000 miles.

Go Fixed Servicing unless you have a high annual mileage.

Main Dealer Servicing does not guarantee that the Haldex was done every 3 years.
