Bluetooth Connection Problem

Featured Replies

Hi there, picked up my new Superb at the weekend and so far I'm very happy with it. One problem I have is that every time I enter the car, the Skoda wants me to manually authenticate my Bluetooth connection by sending me a passcode, rather than just auto connecting. Has anyone else experienced this and anyone know anyway to resolve? I would expect that once I had paired the Car to my phone that first time it would automatically connect everytime thereafter. Phone is a Samsung Galaxy S7 edge if it makes a difference. Thanks

The best thing to do is remove the pairing at both ends and then start from the beginning again.

Pay attention to being asked additional questions as this may be where you're not noticing the problem.

I did have 1 option I didn't understand which was a choice between hands free and business mode. Do you happen to know the difference between the 2?

It was a while ago when I was setting mine up and also wondered the same thing!

Yes business mode is rSAP Profile (uses remote SIM access).  It is the better option of the two, and does allow auto-connecting on the S7 Edge (my wife has one :) )

Probably best to re-pair (deleting the old pairing from both ends) and re-doing it and choosing the Business mode.
