Hey guys, picked up my new Fabia today! 

 

2010 reg - 1.9tdi with only 37k miles. Been looking for quite some time so was very happy to find her.

 

Unbelievably smooth to drive.

 

My aux in port only seems to play music out of the offside speakers though. Which is strange. Messed around with the balance and thats not the issue. All the speakers work when listening to the radio, so I'm going to have to look into that one. 

 

If anyones got any suggestions, that would be awesome.

 

I'm thinking wind deflectors and some hideous beaded seat covers!

Re the aux, my citigo does similar, I happen to know my cable is suspect. If the cable for you is ok, it may well be the socket, either debris in it, or a dry joint. Something the garage should sort, if it was acquired that way.

Nice car, the front half of my Roomster is pretty much the same as your Fabia estate, but for some unknown reason you get fuel and engine coolant temp gauges, whereas mine has no info on coolant temp, and a small digital bar graph fuel affair in the tiny central display. 

 

My previous Mk1 Fabia 1.4tdiPD did have a proper coolant temp gauge. It's something I like as it allows you to identify stuff like if the thermostat is failing/has failed, hence engine working at lower than optimum temperature.

 

Enjoy your new motor, mine's up at my local one-man- garage having its annual service today.
