Hi , has anyone had experience with this  problem, scan shows P0238 /G31 fault code. TPS reckon to check wiring to sensor plug as he is sure it's common fault . 2012 L&K , 170 , DSG combi

Yup, not so long after I bought three years ago...perhaps a year and 12k miles in. Car went into limp mode and multiple warnings, then would be normal, then the same. 10 minutes to fix under warranty...part (had to be ordered) cost about a fiver. I was told I wasn't the first.
