I have a new Octavia Estate on order and due to be built in the week commencing 28th May.  Does anybody know how long it usually takes from the start of the build to the car arriving with the dealer?

Also mine Will be built Week 22..... delivery time in italy is 2 weeks

can depend on current orders, parts availability, getting the car over, customs, dvla.........the list goes on

 

mine from putting pen to paper on the initial documents to driving it away off the forecourt was just over 12 weeks. Mine does have a lot of extras though.

Do you nave ordered sunroof as a optional?

There's a long thread on Delivery Timescales here. My personal experience was that the build date was 22 Jan & we picked up on 3 March. It was shown as en route to Emden on 25 Jan, didn't get on a ship till 6 Feb and then sat on the dock at Grimsby for a while before arriving at the dealers on 15 Feb - we could have picked up earlier but decided to wait for the 18 plate. Your timescales might be quicker as you're not in the new reg window (but conversely they might be slower as it'll take longer to fill up a ship / transporter as there's less cars coming over)

 Build week 48.......ESTIMATED dealer delivery date mid/late January 19....?  Whats another few weeks for March "19" reg plate !
