My only concern would be the fragility of it and the dealers themselves - I do 50-60k miles per year

My local citroen dealers (3 of them) were good and a local skoda one is a citroen one too where i now live.

My BX put on 250k miles without any major problems, and I wouldn't say that they are fragile either personally. The c5 is a massive leap over the Xantia and BX. The suspension has a 5 year warranty on it too :) I think a lot of citroens problems come from price dropping to get people to buy, so low resales, so poor rep, and this keeps happening.

EDIT: Not to mention the number of really good independant citroen dealers too :D

May well be worth a punt then.

The other brother, Tav. Rich was going to have his S3 tuned up to 265bhp but then someone pointed out a flaw in his plan. In order to see the performance gains, he'd actually have to drive the car. He's shelved the plan for the time being. :D

So he hasn't managed to kill himself yet then?

No, and he reached 40 today too :) You ought to pop over t'other place to congratulate him :)

May well do that ;)

Would I have to wear a silly jacket to drive a Rover?

No, but it might encourage you to stop licking men's necks :D
