Okay, managed to drop the side repeater cable down inside the wing.

 

I assume I can rescue it by peeling back the wheel arch lining? 

 

Just hook it out with some stiff wire, much quicker and easier.

Thought about that but no idea where it's sitting so thought save time and hit it via wheel arch 

Just remove some of the T25 Torx screws until you can get your hand inside the arch.
