New vrs order cancelled by dealer

Featured Replies

I have a 16 plate vRS (petrol) on a PCP that runs out on March 1st next year. My intention was to roll it over and buy another vRS. However, with order books still closed, no official word on specs or prices and no doubt a stupidly long wait for delivery when Skoda deign to accept my order and generously sell me a car, I’ve bought a Golf. Tornado Red Gti 245 PP from stock from the local VW dealer. Should be with me by the end of the month and as it will not be WLTP compliant, I got a good deal for taking it off their hands before the 1st September deadline. So, goodbye Skoda. Another customer lost due to your useless customer service and lack of any useful information.

They do know, it’s just they can’t say at the moment. But I have it on good authority that news will come very soon.

'Simply Clever' not!  if Skoda UK can not get a couple of Showroom cars / Demonstrators of each vehicle of MY19 spec with WLTP figures to every UK Dealership so that those buying / leasing can see what they are getting.

Not that that sort of ****-up & disorganisation would not be par for the course.

It's not just Skoda that are struggling with WLTP, other VAG brands are in a bit of a mess too. It's just some cars are still in stock, but others have sold out many weeks if not months ago.

I doubt VW will be overly bothered which brand you buy if it's one of their own brands.
