Is the rear wash jet only available as part of the high-level brake light assembly or could I get it separately.? 

Never part of the high level brake light to my knowledge. It squirts out of the middle of the wiper spindle, when the pipes on the way to it haven't popped apart, and the nozzle isn't blocked...

@colinstubbs @Wino - Does #2 always apply? On the Octy hatch the rear washer is as #2, but on the estate it's part of the high level brake light.

Other halve's nozzle seems to have just broken off/disintegrated!
