Superb 3 anti theft.

Featured Replies

Have anyone done some anti theft system in škoda Superb 3, if yes, where was it done and how reliable is it? How much?

Thanks.

What’s wrong with the built in system the cars come with?

Nothing, I am just wondering whether škoda do mechanical anti-theft locking system, in case thefts get into car.

I've bought a Faraday cage bag to store the keys both at home and when I go away, as I have KESSY, though I sometimes don't bother when I'm a way if, for instance, our hotel room is on the opposite side of the car park and the building is large with many rooms in between us and the car where the signal from a key cannot reach.

Diskloks are making a huge comeback thanks to the vulnerability that keyless systems pose.

Also the startup systems that you can get programmed into the car. ie pressing a certain sequence of buttons on the wheel/dashboard before starting the car.

Where I live there’s been a spate of sneak in burglary’s also some quite nasty ones too where violence has been a major factor.

The moral of the story is... it’s lump of metal.

Your life and your family’s life is far more important.

I saw a mechanical system in the accessories catalogue once. It seems, it can lock the gearselector with a key.
