I'm a new Superb III owner and one of my ambitions is to drive down through Europe to my fiancé's country of Slovakia and, specifically, its capital city Bratislava.  I've wanted to do the drive for years but, if I'm perfectly honest, never had the confidence in my Insignia nor my Astras before that.  After half a week this is the car I have most confidence in.

Absolutely! This car is a great cruiser. I had the cruise control set to 100 mph wherever I could on the Autobahn and the car felt like it was loafing. The air con was on for the whole trip and I still averaged 36.5 mpg with 220ps petrol engine.

 

Bratislava? You'll have to drive through the homeland to get there.

 

I was thinking about driving down to Sicily next. Go swim with Montalbano.
