LED service interval display

Featured Replies

Had the car returned and the service interval programmed for variable servicing. A week has elapsed and I decided to check that the service interval is tickety-boo. The first screen is blank with the days and timings shown on the second display. I am sure that this information should be on the first screen but the dealer ensures that everything is OK but I am doubtful. I have attached photos which are currently displayed. On display 2 the days have countdown but not the miles perhaps it is in 1000 mile blocks.

With variable servicing the engine cpu records how the car is driven, how long at normal temperature, average journey distance, etc and bases the service mileage on that.  Not 100% certain but I think you need to drive a "few" miles before it can build up the data to work out how many miles are left.

Why do you need two displays? Can anyone define the info on display 1?
