Hi there, a week into my second Octavia and thought I'd finally create an account here as I love Skodas!

I started with an old 01 Octavia Elegance 4x4 1.9T, and have just swapped that for an 09 Octavia Elegance TDi S-A, both estates. Great rides, I love 'em.

Hi, My tensioner failed at low revs and speed, the car juddered and stalled. It restarted and I drove home about a mile steadily. It seemed to drive normally if a little noisy. Next day it would start but not run. The check engine light was on. Pretty sure the Timing jumped a tooth. Q. do the valves always hit the pistons? do the valves always bend? Might I get away with an new tensioner and re-time? TIA

Hi All. Just got a 2019 Karoq 2019 SE L........i've noted other people have had an uncomvortable seat experience but its not many. The seats are nurdering my mid/upper back and I cannot find a position that works. I drive several cars each year and have been driving for over 20 years....never had anything like this happen. At the moment it feels like the only option I have is to trade it in for another brand. Anyone had a fix or similar experi
