deflector

Featured Replies

Can anyone tell me what the small plastic lip in front of my front wheel is called...or a part number. My drivers side one is missing and I want to order a new one. Thanks in advance.Octavia estate 2.0 tdci 2015.

The thing that gets scraped on kerbs? Isn't it an extended part of the wheel arch liner , presumably to act as an air deflector?

Ah....so I might have to buy the whole wheel arch liner then?

Might be cost effective if you can make one from ,say, an old mud flap and pop rivet it in place to the liner.

I was thinking the same.....I am going to take the existing one I have off. ..and use it as a pattern to make a new one.

If it is what I see on my car, then you can make a paper template, without removing the whole wheel arch liner, then turn it over to make a missing one. I guess . Are you sure we are talking about the same thing?

Yes, it is A small piece fastened to the bottom of the main liner, about 25 X 150 mm.
