Power steering pump,Fabia

Featured Replies

Enquiries only, as this is the best place to ask for UK prices, as I once lived there...My fabia's (16V) Power steering pump is leaking, the car is a little more than 3 years old. I went to the Skoda dealer here (I live near Athens in Greece) after the 'fitter' looked and discovered it for himself, I was 'quoted' 1800 euros to have it fixed. What's that, about 1100 quid? Is that real or what? Ok, I will go the secondhand route if thats the case, but is a comparable price? anyone out there can give me a 'quote' (then I drive 1600 miles to your place!!

theres one on ebay now for £160 or b.i.n for £235 , see them on there most days

Thanks anton I'll have a look, but its slightly difficult as paypal only accept UK bank accounts. Unless I find a seller that accepts my card. I have asked at a spares store, but no answer yet. Afraid I'm going to get ripped off, although I didn't expect the Skoda main dealer to rip me off to such an extent...

JHM Butt list it in their catalogue here at £305 excluding tax. You could also try IBEXParts here. Both companies are in our Links section under Parts and Accessories.
