Hi Octavia newbie here, I have a cooling fan problem and i have been offered a 2007 Superb cooling fan unit, can anyone tell me if this would fit the Octavia, Sorry if its in the wrong thread, as I say I am new to all this

The mk1 superb has one fan driven by the fan-belt off the engine, and a smaller electrical fan. The mk1 (or any other one really) Octavia has a transverse engine and the fan(s) are fully electrically driven). So unfortunately it wont fit.

 

If it was a mk2 superb, it may (I stress may) have fitted, but that wasn't launched until 2008 afaik.
