Depending on the depth, you might be able to use companies like Wonderwheels, etc. A google for 'alloy wheel refurb' should throw up a few names.

cheers mate its just on the edge of alloy ive only had car 3 weeks.

I've heard that you can make a temporary repair with nail varnish. Just make sure that Mrs adaadams knows why you're borrowing her nail varnish, though ;)

i think ive damged it abit too much for nail varnish. iam only 20 there isnt a mrs adams yet.

I've got a couple of chunks on the l/h side, and rubs on the very edges of my rims. They're not worth worrying about because they need close inspection to see.

The best short term DIY repair is to carefully rub down the affected area with some wet&dry (taking care not to accidentally rub any unaffected part of the alloy as it will scratch it) - then touch up the area with some clear lacquer. This will stop water ingressing into the "wound" and affecting the surface of the rest of the alloy.

(don't worry about alloy damage, it's part of the hazard of driving with low profiles)

talking about alloys my ones are superb ( Jaytee) and not kerbed as of yet how long that will last

(swmbo is at work today time to post whore!!!!:D )

Chipsaway can mend alloys if they're not too bad.

You will find some wheel refurbishers listed in our Links section.
