Question on New Kody Edition

Featured Replies

I too would have rejected the car and reported the dealer to Skoda.

Would be interested to see where the car had been all that time. Still better to just move on now and source a replacement.

I would reject that in a heart beat and suffer the inconvenience of finding another. Rubbish...   Appreciate that is a bold statement from a married man with 3 kids and one car ..

Has anyone actually found much benefit from this service? I've used the hot spot off the phone a few times but other than traffic, i can't really see a huge amount that i'd use it for. Maybe i'm missi

I believe  after all the warnings and the fact it’s from a dealer group well known for its dodgy practices, (so much so they get called Arnold Shark around here), he has actually accepted the “ dodgy”  Kodiaq.

I had this exact issue with a Passat I bought some years ago.  I was told it was brand new but found it was actually over a year old after noticing the stereo was missing some features.  I complained and got a full refund, but it's frustrating position to be in especially with the scarcity of Kodiaqs in stock at the moment.

There's every chance its still a good car.

There are some obvious flaws with this dealers selling practices, but that just highlights the benefits of doing your homework and going in with your eyes open, exactly why forums such as Briskoda are invaluable.

If the Kodiaq in question was suitably discounted to reflect its age, the missing features mentioned to prospective customers and the cars storage location shared then all should be good.

I think I mentioned it earlier but the physical on/off knob on the headunit could be a potential positive for me :D
