I need to replace the gear knob and gaiter on my 2008 Roomster, does that mean that I need a part that fits the Mk2 Fabia ?

 

..... or does the silver trim on the top of the gearstick (with the shift pattern on) replace separately ? 

 

Mine me has become worn by rings

Take a look here and then you may change the car in order to make comparisons with Fabias. I think that the silver trim of the gear stick is attached to the stick. At least at the shop here is listed like that.
