Oh-oh... First limp mode

Turned on car - left work, drove 50 yards.... no boost! Nothing out the ordinary. Pulled over, turned off,1.2...9.10, on again. Engine light was OUT then and car drove fine - even with engine light coming back on again 15 seconds later. :D

Worst thing was, went to check vag com, and the screen has smashed on the laptop. Anyone know where I can get a 14" Toshiba Satellite LCD screen from cheap. :( Gutted I can't check any extra faults.

Has your laptop got a VGA socket? You might be able to plug a standard monitor into it - we did that when our laptop screen was smashed.

It might do,but as the laptop strictly isn't mine, I do need to get it fixed with a new/spares screen a.s.a.p.

Tracking a couple of spares on fleabay. Couple look compatible. I've also PM'd the owner to tell him of the damage. :o
