I hope to be a new Karoq owner is a more accurate description.  Currently the car is on order.  It will be 1.5 SE L DSG in white with some extras.

    How long do you have to wait for the Karoq?

    It looks like about 7 months (dealer's best guess).  It was ordered on 28 February and has been deferred into MY19.  The dealer hoped it would then be built but he doesn't know the confirmed build week yet. I don't know what I spec'd that caused the delay.

    Welcome!  That's a long wait alright and a little frustrating but it will be something to look forward to.
