Hi everyone, new to forum 

 

Looking for some help, i had a dash cam in my mk2 fl octi vrs fl which i fitted, i have just picked up a my18 superb sportline and wanting to fit it to this now.  

 

I have found the fuse box behind the glove box,  and think i know where to install my piggy back fuse for the dash cam but i have nowhere to fit the earth. On my vrs the fuse box was at the side of the dash on the drivers side and there was a few bolts that wete visible where i earth it. Does someone know where i can earth it in the new superb?

As per this post, the screw it highlights is an earthed screw. 

 

I followed this guide to fit my dashcam which I took from my Octavia. It works a charm. 

Thanks!  Thats really helpful.  Shouldnt be too hard to fit now i know where an earth screw is.

Managed to fit the dashcam all hardwired into fuse box tonight after the game. Doesnt look too bad. 

Actually found a few earth screws in the side of the dash.  Side panel pulls off and i added a nut to an existing bolt that was there so as to not undo and disturb anything this way wire is totally hidden as can be routed to fuse box.
