One-touch window closing?

Featured Replies

I recently had to disconnect my battery to do some work on the car, when I reconnected it the passenger side electric window now doesn't close with the one-touch operation, whenas the drivers side does!

Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? It's rather annoying to have to hold the switch to open or close the window.

Thanks,

it need to be re-taught. I think it's press until fully down then full shut and it should then work. If not try doing a quick search on here or in the manuel

window module will probably need reprogramming , don't know how to do it though sorry , try winding the window down then up and hold finger down for a few seconds when fully up this might work

All VAG I've owned with One-Touch do this. Usually re-set itself after a full open-close.

Also, are you using thed rivers side button or passenger button?

All fine now thanks, I actually found that using the autoclosure / open with the key in the lock resetted it!!!

Thanks anyway. :)

Usually when the one touch stops, you put the window fully up, then hold the button in "up" position for 2 or 3 seconds. This restores one-touch. :)
