dsg gearbox

Featured Replies

i own a 2017, 67 reg, octavia 1.4 tsi estate, with the dsg box, is there a problem with the box, i think it slips sometimes, in first gear. is it the dq200 box?

Can you describe this ’slipping’ in more detail?

Might help with our replies.

Welcome.

There are issues with some quite new DQ200 DSG being reported.

There is a thread in the Fabia Mk3 Section.

There are TPI's on the problem and some have had software updates and even Clutch Pack Updates.

If anyone at the dealership says 'Never heard of any problems' or 'That was in the past 2009-2012 then 2013-2015'

Tell them to go get someone that does know about the issues that VW, Skoda, SEAT & AUDI know about and have had to address.

* Be sure they are logging your concerns and passing onto Skoda UK & Skoda CZ or they will continue saying

'Never heard of any issues before'.

Torque is limited in 1st & 2nd gear, this maybe what you are experiencing or a bit of sheepskin!
