long story short im looking for a monte or sel dsg estate or manual 

 

a member here very kindly told me of two at border carsafter my local dealer told me there was none 

 

was waiting for border to confirm details of finance etc and i rang my dealer out of courtest to tell not to bother carry on searching (if he was that is ) as i had found one at border 

 

they convinced me to do the deal through them and they would transfer the car down etc 

 

paid my £1000 initial deposit  on friday last week and they were getting the car from morecambe for some reason 

 

salesman went on holiday and will register car etc when he gets back 

 

tuesday i receive a phone call from my dealer saying sorry but they cant get the car as it was sold on sunday !!

 

they apparently sent the request through saturday morning and no one was in sales admin to action it over the weekend 

 

they cant find another one and have offered to factory order me one once  the order  books open in august but it could be 3 months + before it arrive and we dont know yet about prices etc of the facelift model

 

rang skoda uk for helping trying to locate one and they gave me few leads but after spending a day on the phone chasing a red one that has been transferred to 2 dealers before being sold im no further forward 

 

please please any one know of a dealer sitting on preferrably a monte but happy with sel spec but must be DSG

Do you want an estate or hatchback?  Can the monte be a manual?  Any colour?  I'll give my dealer a buzz when I'm sure.

None in Peterborough, Cambridge or Bedford, but apparently Progress Skoda in Northampton have a Silver Monte 110 DSG with fancy wheels.  I've got 2 phone numbers:  01604 268 164 and 01694 795 444.  Good luck!

Has anyone contacted Skoda UK Customers Services and told them the difficulty finding dealers with stock that Skoda UK Imported and know where they went to and where the currently are in the UK or in transit to?

Tried two local dealers and nothing in stock Malcster.

Spoke to Skoda UK yesterday and today

So I'll.br moving away from Skoda potentially 

 

The attitude of.the staff at Rainworth Skoda today made my mind up when I went to get my deposit money back

Here is a quote from the Honest John website "A lot of model variations have been temporarily withdrawn because of the queue to get every single variation certificated to EU6d TEMP / WLTP before September. Any cars not certified to EU6d by that date cannot be sold.". So perhaps the problem is not limited to Skoda?
