Anybody used these to repair the front window is so are they any good 

 

 

Yeah they are fine, easy to install.

Might save a ball ache trying to get all lined up etc.

 

What size rivets hold the top and bottom of the inner door card in place? As they looked fairly chunky 

 

you need to get the rivets from skoda as they are a special size. also a lazy tong riveter is needed.

i wouldnt try using self tappers as they wont seal properly and it will leak.

The rivets are 6.4x10mm. Part number N91078801

 

There are ten of them in each front door.

i thought 9 but getting 10 is a good bet in case you mess up

Ah fair enough, maybe I was thinking the rears which might be 9

Got the rivets from tps at 62p each. And the riveter from screwfix £35. Door panel from eBay delivered yesterday.

 

Guess what I'm doing later!

All done 

 

Couldn't get the loom plug to pull out below the door handle so chopped the cables and reconnected with bullet clamps
