MK1 Fabia 1.4 MPI classic rear quarter window

Featured Replies

Good evening Briskoda,

After having my beloved Fabia broken into today I am now looking for a nearside rear quarter window.

Does anyone have a part number or have knowledge of wether any MK1 Fabia window will fit mine?

Any help appreciated.

That's green tinted. Is yours tinted?

It's says it was from a 2005 1.9tdi, I wasn't sure whether there was any difference between models other than the engine.

Are you suggesting that different engined Fabias have different shaped windows?

I'm suggesting nothing. I'm asking. Being relatively new to the world of Skoda's my knowledge of them is fairly limited, hence asking the more experienced folk on here.

Still none the wiser as to whether your car has tinted windows or not.

Indeed it does.

Cool. It's the correct one then.

Great, thank you for your help!

You're welcome :)

Oh wait - your car is a hatchback isn't it? The estate rear doors are different.

Apparently. Different trim levels and colours may or may not have different tints, but only one of us has access that will allow us to determine which tint, if any, applies to the OP's car.

I know, I was being tongue in cheek about the OP's total failure of confidence in ordering a cheap second hand part which was obviously suitable.

If it were my car I'd spunk the money and fit it just to keep the weather and the thieves out EVEN if the tint turned out to be wrong...
