Possibly silly, but again just wondering if I can save a few £££ by doing it myself.

With no ramps or jack it would be pretty much impossible.

@Wench - I wouldn't try it, particularly if you don't positively know that the car has had the back box replaced before, because if not there will be a place where you need to cut through the pipe.

It has been previously replaced as i had it done a few years ago.

Ferry nuff. I mean, my Octy is 18 and still has the original system apart from cat and downpipe, so it was a valid question.

its very easy..just you need the rear of the car a further 1ft off the ground.....

 

& you need a jack/stands or ramps for that...same as for an oil change...(but obviously the front of the car in the air as its not rear engine)
