Thought I’d post some pics of my project car, I still have my Fabia but I kind of lost interest in it so really fancied another MK5 Golf, I bought it a year ago for £1000 and it was completely standard and a little tired. 

 

It’s a 2004 MK5 Golf GT TDI 2.0 BKD.

 

How I bought it.

 

 

So a year later and the following has been done, full genuine Votex kit, SRS-Tec wide front wings, H&R springs, GTI brakes, Passat CC 18’s, GTI seats, Apple car play and various bits of worn out trim replaced, uprated Sachs performance clutch, DMF and a Quaife LSD fitted, for now its had a generic remap to boost the power a little bit, anti lift kit, probably loads I’ve forgotten but it’s still an ongoing project.
