AC, heater, recirculating air stopped working

Featured Replies

Tried to switch on the AC the other day and noticed that the button didn't light up and the AC was not working. Recirculating air button didn't light up either and the heater is not working. Air just blows at ambient temperature whatever the heat dial is set to. So fans are working but temperature can't be controlled. Anyone got any idea what is causing this? I'm hoping it's a fuse or something that can be easily replaced. Thanks.

Replaced F12 with an old 5amp fuse and it blew immediately, replaced with a new 5amp fuse and seems fine until now. Haven't tested heater yet though.

Have a look at the connector for the G65 aircon pressure sensor, which is just in front of the expansion tank.  That shares Fuse 12 and I've heard that sometimes condensation can get into these connections.  The radiator fan control unit also has a feed off this fuse, so have a look there for any wiring damage if the G65 connection looks clean and trouble-free.
