Skoda offers for next quarter on 1.5 TSI

Featured Replies

I have been just contacted by my dealer Skoda are now offering £1500 deposit contribution on 1.5 TSI engine was £600 when I ordered but as dealer had car in system already I get the £1500 deal.  I already got him to match the lowest car wow deal before that!

You've negotiated very well Goldtw74!

On the Skoda UK web site I see they say the offer also includes the first two services but orders must be placed 1/10/18 - and the offer can be withdrawn at any time. 6.8% APR, which isn't exactly cheap if you don't pay it off immediately.

I do wish Skoda UK would publish the spec/prices for 2019 models.  My dealer is saying they are still in the dark about exactly what the base specs will be and the cost of base spec plus the options.

For those considering a SEAT Ateca instead of a Karoq,

SEAT have introduced 0% APR over 4 years for cars ordered by 2 January 2019

or can have £1750 contribution and pay 6.3%

excess mileage 3.6p per mile

excludes CUPRA spec

The new Skoda Karoq offer is £1500 (petrol) or £2000 (diesel) contribution and 6.9%

(also get one oil inspection service and one service included)

excess mileage 7.2p per mile

but excludes SE technology spec

Logically the fixed amount benefits lower price models proportionally more, but the 0% can be more beneficial for higher price cars

I'm still wondering what my chances of getting my dealer to increase the contribution from the £600  when ordered in May to £1500 now

My car will probably be delivered next week

Any experiences from recent handovers?

My dealer called a few days after placing my order but it hadn't been logged in the system as I specced digital dash which wasn't out so he called me and said I could have the 1,500 discount but if it had been ordered he wouldn't be able to do it.

oh well....worth asking but I'm not confident.....but £900 is a fair bit of cash to not have a go
