Turbo Contd - intercooler off - wondering if I should go FMIC ?

So I am going to get a Melett equivalent of PD150 Garrett but for a lot less monies
Could be worth a modest remap as its possible I may need to map out anyway and so I was wondering about intercooler ? FMIC ?


Side cooler is going to need cleaning out anyway, managed to shake quite a few bits out. But fins could be a lot better making me think something with less wear and tear and better design and perhaps geared to modest 185+ stage 1 remap.
But not prepared to sink big monies into what is a very old car now and only depreciating ( although owner by me since day 1 is something I like). But highly tuned ones showing up for £2k with all the stuff on.


If I did decide FMIC was worthwhile ? Any way to get FMIC and pipes without sinking too much cash ?
+ hassle - the details about crash bar sound annoying, so wonder if I should really bother too much with the FMIC route ?

And a subquestion lol, some peeps have seemed to have their BLT and fit ASZ without blanking yes/no ? how ???
