VW Group were paying the Owners and Management Board fortunes.

Borrowing money and getting grants from Government to produce Green Technology.

Must know VW inside, out, & where the skeletons are, and Volvo, and now GM, and he was with Mitsubishi as well.

Yet VW Group are still behind all the rest with new Technology. They get all the inside gen and still fail.

Been given a refund after referring to Skoda Customer Support which is good. I will have to wait to see if the fundamental issue is fixed.

I've just got rid of my 65 superb 190 that my wife had adopted, and I've just bought her a 5 year old auris hybrid that feels newer, tighter much much quieter and she loves it. My octy vrs is the last VAG diesel I'll be buying for sure, and possibly last VAG car.

Quality certainly seems to have gone down. Wife had a door protector fall off on her Bear, now mine has developed a squeak and rattle in the rear drivers side door. I’ve also have friends with Audi’s and Bentleys suffering from rattles and electrical issues.

Good stuff :)

my mother had a non hybrid auris that she liked, but it was too small for her golf clubs :D

and swmbo and i looked at a non hybrid one for her a couple of years back. Couldnt afford the premium on the hybrid one. Swmbo liked it, except for the gear stick and hand brake positions. Stuck with the citigo instead.

I'm really impressed with it tbh.
