To add to my Superb I've just bought a 67 plate Rapid Spaceback for my wife. It was a search to get the exact colour she wanted but found it 90 miles away in Aylesbury and collected it yesterday. 

 

It's a 1.0 tsi with the DSG and it's mighty impressive! 

 

I'm bound to have a few questions in the coming days/weeks so I hope you guys can assist!

I thought it sounded like a fair swap, but now I've read the post it seems you're keeping both  

 

I think DSG is a great idea for the 1.0. Let the machine make the millions of gearshifts it needs instead of struggling with that useless torque curve and a manual ( as I do ) .
