Difference between MY18 and MY19

Provided that a vehicle has a solid central display, as the Kodiaq definitely has, I would personally save my money and drive more safely and chose the standard dials.

Unfortunately in modern motoring it would appear bullish!t baffles brains!

People love the bragging rights of the chintz and glitz, and that's why we have threads on here about activating needle sweep, being able to change the Interior colour lighting and  enabling the ability to watch videos via the ICE whilst the vehicle is in motion.

My vehicle nemesis used to be the Vauxhall Corsa, but now it's the Škoda Karodiaq. I've had three near misses whilst the drivers of these vehicles were distracted by something in the centre console rather than looking at the road ahead.

I love the fact that if you go into settings on the MFD on my Superb, it tells me I am not allowed to fool with such things unless the vehicle is stationary.

Fair enough. But why can I unzip my Columbus system and fiddle with SatNav route plans, type in addresses, set up music collections, change sound settings all while ripping down country lanes.....  why is it safe to do that?  :wondering:

But it is not safe.

Even less safe for some right handers in a right hand drive car IMO.

About time that the UK / Ireland went Left Hand Drive........  Or maybe not!  Left handers are maybe doing fine.

Welcome.

Big difference that is for sure is, You could buy a MY18 & you can not yet buy a MY19.

I have a question about this:

"Bonnet noise suppressor cancellation
The 2.0 TSI 190PS engine will be launched without the bonnet noise suppressor
(previously found on 2.0 TSI 180PS)."

What does this mean?

Does anyone have this, and what is their opinion after driving a while with this?

Does the MY19 Kodiaq make a lot of more noise than the MY18 Kodiaq?

Padding on bonnet inderside, insulation, just another saving to them of a few Euro.

It will be on the VW / Audi Premium brands still.

Example,

deleted on a Citigo and when you go to VW to buy one which is identical and you have the part number you are told only for a UP! and not a Citigo or a Mii.

It can also affect engine warming / cooling too, especially when stationary or in slow moving traffic. Probably more of an issue in hotter or colder climates.

MY19 190 TSI has underbonnet insulation see
