MK2 Octavia Window Auto Raise + Vacuum hose.

Featured Replies

Hello All,

I removed the battery to access and replace the vacuum hose for the brakes. Prior to this when I used the Driver's window control for the raising and lowering function, if a window was open I could flick any of the four window switches and the window would raise to the top automatically. Now I have to hold the switch up to shut a window. If I flick down on any of the Driver's door window switches the window lowers automatically to the bottom. I presume that the Door window control needs some re-programming, does anyone know what to do please?

For anyone's interest, this is the hose I replaced the tie wraps are or were holding the split together to stop me loosing vacuum for the brakes.

To Chickenlicker22,

Thank you for pointing me to the "Resetting one touch window" topic. I was able to set not only the drivers door window control but also the three individual window controls on the other doors.

John
